Guide Review - Michael Schumacher Kart and Event Center - A Taste of Formula 1 in Germany
The Michael Schumacher Kart and Events Center is a must for any fan of Formula 1 racing. I followed Schumi for years in Germany and he is something of a national hero and a legend in racing.
Upon entering this great go cart racing facility, you feel like you are at a miniature Formula 1 racetrack.
The experience is enhanced by the fact that you don the whole racing outfit before getting into your cart. I highly recommend going with a group or at least one friend to enhance the racing experience.
After speeding around the indoor or outdoor track (depends on weather and your preference), you can enjoy the great atmosphere in the American Sports Bar or have a little pasta or pizza at the Ristorante LaPiazza. Prices are reasonable and the food is good.
Visit the Schumacher museum if you are a racing fan and you can buy great souvenirs to take home in the gift shop. You can easily make a fun six hours of it.
I highly recommend going to the Michael Schumacher Kart and Events Center - it is exhilarating, good fun and if you have a few too many Bitburgers after racing, there are plenty of hotels in the area. I guarantee it will be a memorable experience but warn you, you might just get hooked.
