Hühner- und Entenbraterei Ammer

Chicken and Roast Duck are the order of the day at the Hühner-und Entenbraterei. Enjoy an Augustiner Beer, bring your kids for their kids menu or buy a half henkl at the outside booths. At 7 pm, the music starts in this lovely small tent.

Hendl- und Entenbraterei Heimer

The Hendl- and Entenbraterei Heimer one of the more well know traditonal tents at Oktoberfest. The original Munich traditions in cooking and hospitality are on offer here which makes the tent a favorite of Munich citizens and visitors alike. Try the Heimer duck (ente) which is made fresh on the grill with a secret spice marinade and served with homemade sauces, potatoe dumplings and celery salad - mouthwatering!

Heinz Wurst- und Hühnerbraterei

In addition to its street booths, the Heinz sausage and Hühnerbraterei offers a lovely intimate atmosphere to down a few great sausage selections , roasted chicken or even vegetarian dishes. On family days prices are reduced and Karlheinz Honsberg plays traditional music daily starting at 5:00 pm.

Poschner's Hühner- und Entenbraterei

Poschner's is relaxed and friendly with a cozy ambiance. Serving, of course, roasted chicken and duck dishes, the staff shows you personally to your table and makes a concerted effort at making guests feel comfortable and at home. A nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger tents.

Hühner- und Entenbraterei Wildmoser

Yet more duck and chicken. The grills here give off a pleasing smell of roasting poultry and spices and there is an extensive menu with different offerings. From 4:30 on, music is on offer and the small tent offers street sales as well as seating inside.

Das Wienerwald Festzelt

The Viennese forest festival tent is famous for its, you guessed it - Chicken! Very relaxed and family friendly, the tent serves up good food and offers entertainment starting at 4:00 every day and noon on weekends. On family days prices are lowered for families with children. There is a daily lunch menu from 11:00 to 1:00 priced at only 5.50.

Hochreiter's Haxnbraterei

Hochreiter's offers a casual charming friendly atmosphere reminiscent of the old days. Great grilled meats (haxn) and Bavarian Schmankerl are the specialities here. Highly personable, you can even get specially prepared dishes here. In the evenings, the tent is alive with music and a genial atmosphere.
