The Neue Pinakothek houses an excellent collection of French Impressionists and art from Degas, Monet, Pissaro, Manet and Renoir, van Gogh, Cezanne and Gauguin. The Pinakothek der Moderne features modern art works and Lenbachhaus is the best place to view the works of the Blue Rider and Bauhaus artists.
