1. Festivals and Events in Stuttgart
Stuttgart offers festivals and events year-round as well as a good selection of cultural and sporting events. Try to get tickets to one of the performances at the Stadt Opera House.Go in early September to take in the Stuttgart Wine Festival and the Music Festival which are held concurrently. In early October, don't miss the Beer Festival.

The Mercedes Benz museum is absolute heaven for auto lovers. This beautifully designed museum houses some of the great MB classics and offers you a chance to take part in interactive exhibits and driving simulators. The whole atmosphere here is pleasant and appealing - regardless of age or gender, although no doubt, most males I know would gladly take up residence here. In the town center of Stuttgart, you can visit the Neues Schloss wich is across the street from the Altes Schloss. You can visit the old palace, the new palace and palace square - all in a few short steps.The Altes Schloss was built in the 1300s and houses the Wuerttemberg State Museum which is home to some great historical and medeival exhibits. Make sure you wander through Karlsplatz which outside the palace walls, has cafes and hosts an open air market every Saturday.
