Plan a Cycling Vacation in Germany

Tuesday March 11, 2008
In the brand-new and free Cycling Holidays 2008 database published by the German Cyclists' Federation (ADFC), Leading tour operators present over 100 cycling deals and packages. You can search the database online and select the region you would like to travel to. The ADFC Web Site is in German but fairly easy to understand. Cycling in Germany is great fun and there are plenty of easy trails as well as more difficult ones. I recommend starting in Dresden and taking the Elbe trail to Hamburg or Bremen - it is all downhill! Check out some of the tours, it is a great way to see the countryside and German bike trails are both well maintained and you don't need to worry about auto traffic
