Useful and Simple German Phrases

Monday December 1, 2008

You hear it a lot: Germans speak English well, and it is fairly easy to travel around Germany without knowing a single word of the German Muttersprache.

This is especially true for the bigger cities and tourist destinations in Germany; you hear a lot of English on the streets of Berlin and Munich, thanks to an ever-growing community of American expats.

Have a look at our Useful German Phrases; simple, basic, and helpful for any traveler.
